Human Development Center

The Human Development Center or HDC has been a prominent part of our community providing mental health services for 70 years in four counties in northeastern Minnesota and one county in northwestern Wisconsin. They came to thriveOn Creative seeking help with their website which was launched today, www.humandevelopmentcenter.org. Their needs included a more modern design but also some practical tools to aid their administration, including an online job application. A growing organization of more than 300 employees means hiring is a common phenomenon. Consequently this involves significant expense especially as it relates to advertising and administrative overhead. To help alleviate the problem thriveOn developed a tool for their website that allowed them to easily change their job postings. In addition we created an online process for applicants to submit their job application. The result was a reduced cost in advertising expenses as they were able to reduce verbiage that could be found online and a more convenient means for potential employees to apply for employment.
